Great place to get three generations of the family together to celebrate one members "big birthday".

Great location for exploring, but also handy for the shops etc in Aberystwyth. Great views east towards the mountains. Very spacious house.

Fab weekend away with girlfriends and birthday celebrations

Ideal large house in a lovely setting, everything you could want for, real home from home

The house is in need of maintenance repairs in areas, but didnt really spoil our break

Great house with a great host

9.0

Location and the facilities were great and the host, Ffion, was excellent and nothing was too much trouble

Two of the showers could do with updating

Overall, it was a spacious and comfortable stay with good facilities, but a few issues with cleanliness, heating, direct

8.0

What I liked about the property was how spacious the cottage was, which worked really well for our large group of adults, teenagers and children. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained and there was ample parking available on site, which made things very convenient for our group. The hot tub was a real highlight and enjoyed by everyone, and the pool was also a nice facility once we were shown how to access it. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with plenty of space and good facilities for a large group.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved during our stay. On arrival, the cleanliness could have been better in some areas, particularly around the windows where there were visible webs, and the fridge was not as clean as expected. The property was also quite difficult to find as there were no clear signs and the address provided doesn’t lead you the cottege. We had to call for directions before we could locate the cottage. The heating was a bit of an issue as the house was very warm. Although we managed to turn it off, the heat pump in the cupboard next to the downstairs en-suite made that room particularly hot, and the fans provided didn’t really help. We also weren’t initially informed about how to access the pool, as it was covered and we didn’t realise the sheet could be removed. We had to call to find this out. While the kitchen was well equipped, we chose not to use the provided utensils due to our dietary requirements (halal) and concerns about cross-contamination.

Great family reunion house

9.0

Lots of space generally & great communal social space in particular. Great views, good parking, easy access, lots of bathrooms rooms, lots of crockery so you didn’t need to worry about running out or running the dishwasher till it was full. Great place for a family reunion.

Quick a few small repair jobs needed & look like they’ve been outstanding for a while (eg window catches in mist bedrooms/bathrooms & a few lights were not working)

The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Great location. Plenty of space. Would highly recommend

Downstairs bathroom could do with an upgrade. Other than that, great
