9.0The hotel is lovely with fantastic outdoor spaces for dining and drinking. The ground floor has several areas to sit inside, all of which are quite cosy. The staff are all amazing, so friendly and helpful, excellent service, polite and yet fun; they helped make the weekend. The cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted. The breakfast is very good, with a good time scale of opening; 8am start on a weekend and 7:30am on a week day. There is ample parking. The rooms are well soundproofed and a good size.
− There are a couple of things that could be improved; better storage in the bedrooms (more drawers in particular) and the evening menu could be more varied.
Lovely stay!!
10.0Quaint, cute property. Staff were outstanding! I had transportation issues to the airport. The staff stepped up and helped me!! Thank you!
We will come again when we stay in Kent.
9.0Breakfast and dinner very good. Room: OK but 2years ago was better, bigger.
Nice place - needs more management presence
7.0Nice location, close to some wonderful English Heritage and National Trust properties. The hotel is a little hit & miss. Staff seem a little unengaging at times, and service a little haphazard. The room had no air conditioning and no fan available. Our room was over the kitchen so the heat was unbearable. But we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel rooms are very comfortable and the towels are fluffy. Food was ok...
− No fan in room. nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom, had to put washbags on the floor. Really needs a little table in there. There didn't seem to ever be anyone in charge!
Lovely, highly recommend. Would love to stay again some time.
8.0The property is absolutely charming. Tastefully decorated in a lovely setting. Breakfast was superb. Staff were all so friendly and accommodating.
− It would be a 10 out of 10 but the room was very hot. No air conditioning. A fan was provided but in these heat waves they don’t really touch the sides. But this would not stop me staying again.
