A loud late-night party that was not disclosed in advance.

− 1. We booked a non-refundable reservation. At no point before or during the booking process were we informed that a wedding reception would be taking place at the property during our stay. We only discovered this by chance on the day of the event. As expected, the celebration generated considerable noise. Since we had come specifically to relax, we spent the entire evening away from the property to avoid the disturbance. Unfortunately, when we returned at around 12:30 a.m., the music became progressively louder as the DJ continued playing, eventually reaching a volume that made it impossible to sleep. The party did not end until around 4:00 a.m. This completely defeated the purpose of our stay, which was to rest and enjoy a peaceful night. 2. The room on the second floor (attic level) was significantly inferior to the rooms shown on the first floor and did not reflect the atmosphere of a historic building at all. Instead, it was a very ordinary attic room with basic, uninspired furnishings (for example, there was not even a wardrobe for hanging clothes). Based on the photos and description, we expected a room of a comparable standard. We therefore felt that the accommodation was presented in a misleading way.
