2.0Location
− It is very run down
The staff were trying very hard to make the best of what appears to be a bad situation.
4.0Great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Off road parking available. Beer garden.
− Hotel seemed understaffed. One poor girl was trying to do everything. During a 3 night stay, our room was never cleaned once, nor fresh towels given. I had to ask for toilet roll. One socket in the room wasn’t working. Problems in the kitchen resulted in a reduced breakfast menu and no dinner being served. Broken windows, broken arms on garden chairs, lots of weeds outside, main areas not hoovered; overall the hotel seemed tired and uncared for.
Une calamité !
2.0La terrasse
Extremely disappointing compared with previous stats there a few years ago
3.0Waitress very friendly but obviously the only one working in a busy dining room Barman also very friendly and helpful
− Poor breakfast - no eggs other than scrambled. Booked dinner for evening we arrived and not told before arrival that only soup & sandwiches available. No hairdryer in room - when I asked for one it made an awful noise and had a burning small - had to get replacement Only 2 hooks in room to hang clothes - both broken. No wardrobe. Towel dirty & unusable Lots of garden furniture broken and windows in Hotel broken or boarded up. Our room window was cracked and safety catch on it broken. Carpets stained
great hotel just a problem day when we arrived which happens but still recommend.
9.0no eggs no tattie scone no brown bread server done her best but basically all was on offer was bacon and sausage and powdered scrambled egg
− little food on offer at night and breakfast but the town does offer lots off eating options within 5 minutes walk of hotel
Matig verblijf in verouderd hotel
