The hotel is on the 3rd Floor, thankfully with a small lift. Not wheelchair-friendly as there is about 5 steps up to the lift. Room has no windows but it’s clean and the aircon & shower work. South City Plaza is an easy 7-minute walk from the hotel. Walls are very thin and I could hear the conversations from the surrounding rooms and corridors. Even heard the hotel staff at 10.40 pm using the remotes to turn down the aircon speed throughout the corridors. No kettle in room even though instant coffee sachets are provided. No bottles of water but a small jug with what looks like a filter is provided (but we’re not sure if there IS a filter & if it works) But not to worry, there is a 7-11 convenience store just a few doors away and plenty of restaurants, kopitiams and cafes for your morning cuppa. Hot water from the shower takes about 1 minute to come through - you have to leave the water running for that long to get super-hot water. Air filter in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. While showering, drops of water stained with dirt fell from the air vent into the wash basin, staining it a dirty gray-black. Even though it’s supposedly a brand new hotel, the toilet bowl is badly stained *sigh* Interesting decor within hotel premises, lots of avant-gard statues which are almost life sized (they are THAT big). The place is comfortable enough for a night’s stay, as long as you do not expect too much.

Friendly staff and reasonable room

The two of the friendly staff help me on online booking hotel dot com error. Everything you need (the one that I can think of) is within walking distance. Environment beside is not very clean though, Street cleaning is not efficient enough. Room is basic (no bottled water provided) and some room without windows.
