Beware Security Deposit Charges
6.0I booked four rooms for my family under my name. The hotel met our needs, was clean, quiet and generally a good time was had. Jamal, the front desk agent for check in, was outstanding. It was a bit disappointing to learn that breakfast room service is not available until the end of week. However the three star rating comes from the four security holds that were never removed from my credit card. First I had to call the hotel three times because customer service/front desk never answered. When I finally managed to speak with someone, I was told that the security charges had been removed the same day that we left. Untrue. My credit card company informed me that they had in fact charged me and that a refund needed to be initiated. I will not be returning to the hotel as this was such poor customer service.

10.0Never disappoints. No matter where you go in the Golden Nugget everything is always so clean. Rooms are excellent, spacious and clean. We go often and have to say Pamela in the front desk is wonderful. She's been there for years and always has a smile on her face. Very friendly, professional and accommodating. Nothing starts our trip off better than an smooth, easy , friendly check in. Even valet is great.
Old school style not bad. Off the beach Think of an older style 70s glam vibe.
8.0Near Harrahs and Borgata It's not the high end but was good for a night or 2. Valet check in not bad but they also offer free self park. Quiet low key place with blue collar elderly the client base. Asian restaurant was fine but small menu 7/10.This isn't over the top extravagant but some may say needs remodel. It was nice though literally felt very retro which we liked. Like the old Vegas hotels in years past we found it cool. Give it a shot don't expect the Venetian Better odds and easy to find tables open. Not busy which we appreciated. Would stay again if offered deal . Overall 7/10
