10.0Lovely cottage in quiet rural area, situated beside The Roaches, with great views of surrounding hills and coutryside. Ideal location for exploring the area with good walks on the doorstep.

10.0Lovely short break with a big dog. The walks from property were amazing. We visited when Storm Amy came. We got soaking wet, blown around & cold but, came back to a lovely warm cottage with plenty of hot water for our showers.

4.0We stayed here for 1 week and did not have a great experience. The property was in poor condition, lots of moths, insects and damp throughout. We heard signs of rodents and seen rodent droppings around the kitchen and living areas. Apart from that the location was great and stunning views around the property

10.0really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival!

10.0Walking distance of the Roaches and other footpaths easy to reach. The accommodation was comfortable, with all of the things you would need. Beds comfortable, hot electric showers! Would definitely book again and recommend.

10.0Flexible arrival and departure - while we could have collected/dropped off the keys at tea room, there’s a key safe available if arriving later/departing earlier. Tidy cottage with comfortable beds. Perfect location for The Roaches and a nice choice of restaurants not far away in Buxton, if you prefer to eat out.
