Schöne kleine Anlage als Zwischenstop auf einer Rundreise zum Erfrischen. Frühstück war leider nicht so toll. Wir wurden gefragt, wann wir frühstücken wollen. Das war um acht. Wir saßen um acht am Tisch. Das erste Personal ließ sich um 8.30 sehen. Um 8.50 hatten wir unser spärliches Frühstück. Sehr ärgerlich auf einer Rundreise, so ein Zeitverlust. Eine halbe Stunde ist in Marokko normal und akzeptabel. Man muss in Marokko für eine kurze Mahlzeit 60 Minuten einplanen. Aber hier war es definitiv zu lang.

hotel correct dans l'ensemble, mais entretien mal fait ; par exemple, la chasse d'eau des WC ne fonctionnait pas, on devait l'ouvrir pour l'utiliser.

J’etais Seul dans l’hôtel donc aux petits soins. La piscine, le petit jardin en patio, le dîner au bord de la piscine, très bon. Le petit-déjeuner copieux et très bon sur la terrasse avec la vallée, ses maisons berbères et la montagne comme paysage. Le bonheur pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

From this hotel the location is the best feature. For the price, the value is good, but is still a low cost option. Having said that, the service was efficient, we had a very smelly bathroom and after the first night (we stayed two) we decided to communicate that to the front desk. Very diligently they changed us to what seemed an upgraded room, way nicer than our original one and we were installed in this room within five minutes of my inquiry. The breakfast is quite basic but it was plenty and the terrace where you eat it has a magnificent vista of the mountains. At the time of my stay the water in the pool (which I don't need in a water stressed country and other tourists should not care because of this situation) was a little bit turbid; for Morocco I don't mind cause I actually prefer that they don't waste water so uselessly, but still I wouldn't have bathe in it if I was a little bit less concern of water scarcity.

We stayed here to explore the Tafraout area. The rooms are chalet type around a central garden and pool. The hotel also offers camping. It was New Year's Eve while we were there and the owner organised celebrations in the restaurant. There was a great Berber band, music, dancing and refreshments. What an amazing way to greet the new year. The breakfast was very good and an optional evening meal was available in the restaurant - all traditional Berber style. The staff were very attentive. Staying here was a great experience.
