Communication via emails upon booking the accommodation was excellent, then also had text message from the host one day prior to our stay with extra communication which was fantastic. Access to the property was excellent and easy. We felt 100% safe during our stay. Accommodation itself was in an incredible location as we were visiting Alton Towers so it was perfect, it was self catering and the accommodation had everything you needed and more. Great food locations near by as well. We enjoyed tea at the Talbot and it was a 10/10, would 100% recommend.

− The central heating system was on a timer so it came on at certain times during the day/night, there was no way to turn it off or down, which made the property get quite warm, especially during the night, and we don’t enjoy sleeping with the windows open so unfortunately this was a little uncomfortable. We also found the mattress to be a little too firm for our preference.

We booked it to go alton Towers and 10/10 for how close we were. Nice little place surprisingly quite for where it is. Easy to access the place from the road when driving. Nice view from the windows. Even though we didn't really use the kitchen, you are provided with a lot of stuff to use.

− There's a floorboard upstairs you can tell is about to break as you go into the bedroom right side of the rug once you get in there. Downstairs, when looking at the sofa on the right side, there's a bit of paint peeling off the wall and heating. You can't change the temperature. However, they do provide mini electric heaters.

Perfect little cottage right on the doorstep of Alton Towers! The cottage was very tidy and clean with a well equipped kitchen - we really appreciated there being a washing machine when we got caught in an unexpected thunderstorm! The host Georgina was very welcoming and kind - she has clearly put a lot of thought into providing guests with everything they could need for a great stay. Highly recommend a visit - we will definitely be back.

Stunning wee cottage, right on the door step of alton towers, you really couldn't be any closer. Cottage was fully kitted with everything you'd need. Georgina was a fantastic host very accommodating. If your booking a trip to alton towers or just want a nice few days to relax and enjoy the countryside, don't hesitate to book here!
