Gorgeous cottage in the heart of the north pennines
10.0Beautiful cottage in a very central location in the North pennines. We loved the comfy beds and superbly equipped kitchen. Wildlife was abundant in the surrounding area, in particular black grouse along the road joining Daddry shield and new biggin. Other wildlife included red grouse, siskin, Merlin, golden plover and plenty of hares.

10.0A quirky cottage in a pretty village. Very clean. Absolutely, everything that you need is all ready there. Comfortable beds. The owners are wonderful, too. Nothing is too much trouble. We had a perfect mini break.

− Het loodmijnmuseum was gesloten wegens opknapbeurt. De stoomtrein reed niet volgens schema, maar beperkt.
