For the middle of outback NSW this is a gem!
10.0My absolute must when travelling is to receive value for money if you are breaking a journey and need overnight accommodation. With the Shamrock, I didn't have to deviate to find it and being a retired pensioner, cost is absolutely vital. I found the location to be perfect and the cost to be absolutely spot on. The unseen bonus was the bed and its absolutely superb comfort and cleanliness. The staff were also helpful and courteous and nothing was a problem.

5.0− The temperature was 6 degrees. Air conditioner didn’t work. Was given a fan heater which took hours to warm the room. Eventually we were offered another room but we had already unpacked and ready for bed. Too old to start again and too tired at 77 and 78 years old.
