10.0Mar del Cabo is a beautiful property tucked in between two giants. It’s small so you never feel like it’s over crowded.
− The stairs are a lot. Bring everything you need to enjoy your day at the pool when you head down for breakfast.

4.0Property was on the beach, but only a few sunbeds on the beach. The rest of the beds were near the pool but you couldn’t see the beach because there was a wall.
− The property was much more run-down than it appeared in the photos, we even upgraded our room to an ocean view and felt misled by the pictures. It feels like this resort is an afterthought just squished in the shadow between the two much nicer Velas resorts. There was even rotten sandwiches left on the pillars inside the pool. Our first night at the property we weren’t even able to use the restaurant or facilities at our hotel due to an event and weren’t warned about it, even though we had been emailing the reception ahead of time to arrange our payment. We argued with the staff our whole weekend to try and get a refund for the night without being able to use our hotel and they didn’t offer any reasonable solutions during our stay. We ended up leaving a night early and were very disappointed overall with the experience, especially since our trip the year before to Mexico was so wonderful. After we returned home, we were offered a refund for one night but we still have not even been refunded because they want us to send photographs of our credit card. Overall it felt like we were trying to be scammed the whole time we were at the resort . It is definitely not worth the price , you would be better off paying more to stay at a different hotel or even likely able to find a better deal elsewhere where you actually get quality for the money you spend. Super disappointed.
