6.0They advertise this as a "new Marriott" but it's not. It's been there for a while, they recently did some renovations, mostly to the lobby area. The room had a funky smell, and the cleaning was subpar. I've seen worse, but if you will charge $500 for a Friday night I expect rooms that are properly cleaned. The TVs do not allow you to plug in an external HDMI device. You can only log in to Amazon prime and Netflix, no other streaming service allowed. We couldn't watch the Red Sox - Orioles game as a result. Their local channels did not carry MASN which had the game on. Also, the hotel's name is pronounced A-Shore. Do NOT pronounce it as As-Hore. That would be bad.
Expensive motel. Photos are miss leading.
3.0Just that it was in front of the beach.
− Cleanliness. It was dirty. Stained pillows and sofa. Hair in the bathroom sink and the conditioner was broken in the shower.

7.0I liked having half of a view of the ocean. Full view would have been great. The bed was comfortable. I would have liked a dog bowl. I read they provide them for dogs so I didnt pack one but front desk didnt have any. I liked having the extra lot to park and I enjoyed free late check out.
− Toilets seem to be on a timer when they flush. I tried flushing but didn't work and then an hour later I hear the toilet flush. Weird. I didnt know I would be charged for 2 extra bottles of water that were provided in the room. For what I paid for the room they should be free.
