Just perfect.
10.0The property was bigger than we expected. Perfect size for our party, 4 adults and 3 children. The location was superb, a short walk to a little high street with an amazing bakery; butchers etc. The walk to the stoney/sandy beach was just perfect for our grandchildren. Lots of lovely walks and cafes. Bus stop nearby to Ryde and return stop almost opposite the property. All the above but location seemed quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the larger areas. Excellent place to relax. Host was easy to communicate with and nothing was too much trouble. We can't wait to return.
− Two parking spaces would have been useful but not essential as we had no problem parking our other car in the road.
fantastic spot and lovely house for families or friends
9.0loved the garden, the bedrooms were all really good. well equipped kitchen. amazing equipment for baby and toddler. and a fantastic location with bembridge having excellent fishmonger, butcher, grocery, eco shop and restaurants and pubs. a fantastic eco consideration too with the cleaning/washing products
− in height of summer sheets are needed instead of duvets. the upstairs floor boards could do with some treatment to reduce the amount of noise as toilet trips at night can disturb light sleepers but honestly an excellent place.
Passable
5.0I liked the location of the property and the fact that it was spacious and good enough to accommodate 5 of us. Facilities were good.
− Property wasn't cleaned enough. Right after entering into the property, my wife got hurt in her leg with a piece of broken glass on the floor. We have found the broken glass pieces upstairs as well. Was looking for the first aid kit and found one at the property, but everything in that kit was with the expired date well in the past.
Superb
9.0
Lovely stay in great house, close to sea and very good local amenities.
10.0Fabulous location, good layout of rooms, great dining space, great lounge with comfy sofa and big coffee table for games. We all slept well and everything worked.
− Parking was sometimes tricky; small space and road parking often busy but we would still recommend 100% because of overwhelming positives.
relaxing, perfect, family friendly break
10.0central, decorated to a high standard, comfortable, near local amenities
