A unique and charming stay in a really historical place. The stay was exceptional value for money.
10.0A short overnight stay for a local cider growers meeting. The Hosts couldn't have been more open and helpful despite us turning up relatively late in the evening. They suggested an excellent place to eat on a late Tuesday eve. The weather was very hot but a fan was provided in the room. The room was excellent very spacious and individually unique with full en-suite facilities.
− Taking the quickness as part of the character with it's unique charm we accepted the fabric was showing its age. The 4 four poster bed was made up but the individual bed in the same room wasn't; However we hadn't prepared the hosts for this either with our limited communication through booking.com. We are sure if we had altered them to this it would have been sorted but we didn't choose to disturb them late in the eve.

excellent experience - certainly recommend it to family and friends if asked.
10.0The surrounding scenery of the property is stunning. Breakfast is excellent with many varieties of well-prepared fresh fruit. The owners are very kind and friendly, very willing to share the history of the property and their knowledge of local region. The pubs and restaurant they recommend are excellent in terms of being located in beautiful villages, friendly and welcoming atmosphere and good food.
