Perfect 5-star stay in the heart of Lyon!
10.0Sofitel stands by its name an brand value! We had a wonderful stay at a lovely riverside location in the heart of Lyon. The entire property is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff are very efficient and helpful, all the time. Even though we did not avail most of the facilities and services at the hotel, there were plenty of options for food and drinks if you want. The room was quite spacious, and well appointed. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The location is amazing -- just in between two largest hubs of Lyon -- Perrache and Bellecour -- with a number of very good cafes, bouchons and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Overall, you may expect the same world-class service of Sofitel in Lyon at this property. We will definitely book this hotel if we are in Lyon again.
− If we nitpick a bit, the bathroom fittings could benefit from a little bit of modernization -- it seemed a little old in terms of the facilities. We would have loved a bit more of toiletries provided in the bathroom -- e.g., hand-soap was missing. However, none of this is significant. It is a really good place to stay in Lyon.
