Everything was satisfactory.
9.0Breakfast was nice. The staff were very quick to refill anything needed. Room was clean and had everything necessary.
“Pets” welcome, but it’s just dogs
2.0We booked this hotel because it said “pets welcome,” but when we arrived, there was a sign saying dogs only. We were traveling with a cat, so we had to find another hotel in the middle of a six-day road trip. If your policy is dogs only, please make that clear online instead of saying “pets welcome.” It was very misleading and caused a lot of unnecessary stress.
Nice front desk and breakfast doesn’t make up for the deficiencies
6.0The Front Desk person was friendly; the hot water was nice and hot; the breakfast selection was good; the bed and pillows were comfortable
− Our room smelled of old, sour cigarette smoke; the hallways smelled of cigarette smoke; the carpet in our room was worn and stained as well as the hallway carpet; the bathroom had cracked walls and cracked and moldy tub sealant; the electric plug on the desk was broken; sheets had cigarette burn holes; and the hand towels and washcloths were dull grayish color although smelled clean; we are non-smokers and I could smell the sour, old cigarette smoke on us even when we were back in our car leaving the area
