Hotel de regular calidad

El hotel no es malo pero definitivamente puede ser mucho mejor. Desayuno mediocre, la ropa de cama se nota con demasiado uso.

Old and moisty rooms

4.0

- Furniture is old - Rooms are moisty (at least the one with windows) - Hotel did not accept foreign credit cards (we tried 3 differents, none of them worked, but only in this hotel) - Log of mold in the bathroom Wouldn't go there anymore.

Avoid where possible

4.0

I am ok with tiny rooms but this was super dated. I've no idea why every time someone wants to get in or get out of the hotel, we have to get their staff to unlock the door for us. The room was super cold with zero heating. The toilet bowl was in a corner and I am not at all very big size but I had trouble wiping as the shower was just next to me. The shower floor was sunken in the middle so there is no way the water can flow into the drain. The shower head dripped the entire night and there was NOWHERE to put my soap or shampoo when I wanted to shower. How does one do that when the shower area is closed by doors and not a shower curtain? There was not even a single bar of soap so please bring your own. Wifi was ok, location is very good - near the city but not worth your $$. Sorry.

Dirty rooms, unkind receptionist => stay away

2.0

Even though I was staying just one night, I wouldn't recommend this place. Small ugly room, with stains all over carpet and walls, leaking shower and just to get someone to open the main entrance door is quite a challenge. For second night I checked out and found much nicer (and cheaper) hotel, so just look around..

Terrible service

2.0

We booked this hotel for a night stay on our from Pucon to Punta Arenas. We booked via booking.com and it was a night stay with breakfast included. We arrive at the hotel and firstly find no one at the reception. We waited for almost 20mins knocking on the door and ringing the bell. Finally this old lady appears and opens the door for us. She does not speak a word of english and is apparently running this hotel in this touristic town. Ok, i speak a bit of spanish, so we get by checking in. I ask her what time is breakfast and she says we need to pay $2500 pesos per person. I showed her our reservation saying breakfast is included and she pretends as if she doesnt understand. Finally she tells me that the breakfast is served 7-10am. We finally check in our room which was so tiny. We would bang ourselves against the wall if we tried to get off the bed. It was extremely dingy room. Ok, its one night, no big deal. We wake up in the morning and get to the breakfast room and we find these 3 fat ladies including the one from previous night, sitting and hummping down their breakfast. They say they were not informed about breakfast for us and so we either have to pay or go out and find a cafe. We were so furious. They were pretty rude and again no one speak a word of english. So go out to have coffee and when we get back again there is no one at the reception and we had to wait another 10mins before someone opens the door. We did not wait even 10mins after that. We checked out immediately to get to the airport. We just wanted to get out of this terrible hotel. Our only advice is please be mindful of the quality of service at this hotel. If its only an overnight stay, only then stay here.

Good for one night

6.0

We stayed two nights here, the first when we arrived into Chile and the second, ten days later twhen we went back to give back the car we had rented. This hotel is ok for a short term. The first night we were given the smallest room we had ever, but at least with a confortable bed and good hot water in the shower, and I guess it was all we needed after a long trip. Wifi works perfect as well. The second night when we were back after 10 days, they didn't have a room for us, but after a few minutes they gave us the room. So if you plan to come back, just pay for it before they give your room. It was very nice of them to give us a bigger and better room. They charge extra for breakfast, so don't pay for it. It is not worth it, although is very cheap, you willl not want to drink that coffe and a few toast with butter. This is it. They didn't even have milk for the coffee. So, if you have a stop over at Puerto Montt, stay here. The price is worth it.
