Absolutely wonderful stay! This was honestly one of the most pleasant accommodation experiences we've had. The place was extremely clean — spotless, in fact — with daily housekeeping, and both towels and bed linens were changed every day. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. They even gave us homemade olive oil, tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggs — such a thoughtful touch. The location was excellent too: close to the beach and the town center, with shops, restaurants, and beaches all within easy walking distance. We were extremely satisfied with everything. If I had to rate it, I'd give it a 20 out of 10, not just 10 — of course, keeping in mind this is a guesthouse, not a hotel, and it exceeded every expectation for that category. Highly recommended!

Ο ξενώνας Μάχη είναι ένας υπέροχος, όμορφος και ήσυχος χώρος γενικότερα. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ καλή καθώς βρίσκεται σε κοντινή απόσταση από καταστήματα, ταβέρνες και ότι άλλο μπορεί να χρειαστεί κάποιος. Το δωμάτιο που είχαμε εμείς ήταν πλήρως εξοπλισμένο και καθαρό αν και λίγο μικρό. Ωστόσο σε αποζημιώνει η αυλή του. Μείναμε απόλυτα ευχαριστημένοι από τη γενικότερη φιλοξενία.

Am avut 2 camere triple, una deasupra alteia, curte privată, umbrită și vedere la munte. Locație ingrijita,curata,arata mai bine decât în poze, mic dejun după preferințe,servire impecabila. Curățenie zilnica,gazde minunate, atente și amabile. Stațiunea micuța, cu un aer tradițional, câteva taverne și plaje cu pietricele, însă și cu nisip după intrarea în apă,cateva bărci de închiriat pentru plimbări în larg. Locul potrivit pentru o vacanta liniștită alaturi de familie.

We stayed in Kato Gatzea for two weeks and had a very relaxing and beautiful experience. The village is peaceful, charming, and perfectly located for exploring the Pelion area. It has a lovely seaside atmosphere, with calm beaches, beautiful views, and a slower pace that makes it easy to fully disconnect. The area felt safe, welcoming, and authentic, with nice local tavernas, friendly people, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The people we met were also very kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It was also a great base for visiting nearby places, beaches, and traditional villages around Pelion. After two weeks, we can honestly say Kato Gatzea is a wonderful place for anyone looking for a quiet holiday by the sea, away from crowded tourist areas. We would gladly come back.

− What we didn’t like was that Kato Gatzea is a very quiet place, so in the evenings there are not many options if you are looking for a more lively atmosphere. Also, depending on where you stay, having a car is useful because some nearby beaches and villages are easier to reach by driving. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay and the positive parts were much more important than the small inconveniences.
