While built beautifully with a B&B as the plan, The Abendblume was built to give you the feel of Bavaria. The building and the rooms are lovely. The patio was lovely and nice to sit with morning coffee or an evening wine (provided by guest). It was only a mile from town and you felt like you were further away, which was nice.

− The B&B lacked much of what we typically expect. The rooms were very overpriced and the breakfast mediocre at best. There was literally no contact with our host and it lacked anything other than a small breakfast and dessert in the evening. After spending time in Leavenworth and returning, it would have been nice to have some tea/lemonade made up with some small snack......nothing.

I love how it was a stroll away from downtown Leavenworth.

− Sometimes we would miss desert because it came out at different times during the night, but it’s so worth it to go down and check for it because the deserts were always delicious when me and my husband got them.

Nice authentic European style (Bavarian, Austrian) which is hard to find in North America

− Breakfast was a bit French ... not exactly European style (e.g. no scrambled egg or omelet)

Probably the best B&B option in the highly overated and kitschy Leavenworth.

The Bavarian style property is located outside of town and offers easy parking, a nice outdoor area and a good breakfast. The rooms are small and furniture is getting a bit old and in need of upgrading, especially the bathroom. But everything works.

− It is overpriced for what it offers but that is in line with the whole town of Leavenworth, which is a kitschy copy of a Bavarian Alpine village with below average restaurants and souvenir shops, not much else.

The location was excellent and about one mile from downtown. We really liked the town of Leavenworth and especially the shops and restaurants. Our room had a nice patio overlooking the hills and mountains.

− Our room was on the second floor and the steep winding staircase was not appreciated. No elevator was available especially when carrying a suitcase. The room was nicely decorated but having an open spa tub adjoining the bathroom with no doors for privacy either !?! Also, there was no owner on site so you were basically on your own; if you had a question about anything- you would have to phone them in another town.

A pleasant choice.

Beautiful property, driving distance to town. Immaculately clean. Lovely breakfast.

− Self check in, no reception, another guest helped us find our room. Didn’t see hosts or staff at all other than kitchen staff at breakfast.
