Terrorized at check-in
2.0Yes, I will brief my complaint We arrived at the hotel about 5 PM, waited to check in about 20 minutes. While waiting we observed an angry exchange with the people in front of us, three groups, that were also being snarled at by the lady behind the desk. We watched this and it scared my wife, her brother and Sister-in-Law, both visiting from Norway. We get up to the counter, she snarled at us too. My wife showed the reservation for a suite for 4 people. This implies at least 2 beds accommodating 2 people each bed. I asked if it was two king size beds in our room, she replied yes and said if you want a rollaway too, just ask. We went up to the room to learn the suite had one bed and a chair in the second room. The lady said you can rent a second room if you like for $400 a night; with a big smirk, smile on her face, seemingly delighted to be telling us this. I said we have reservation for 4, she said then why did you rent this room with only one bed? With this idiotic comment, I began to get angry. Then just now, that same comment was made by customer care at Wyndham Corporate, "why did we rent a room with one bed", just now as I made this complaint by phone to Corporate offices. Asking why we chose a room without two beds is argumentative and idiotic. As we do not own any Ramada hotels, we did not ever hear of a suite for 4 with sleeping for 2; apparently Wyndham considers this acceptable. We did not know Wyndham policy is they may substitute a room for 4 with a room for two? We all got angry, they threw us out, screaming at the top of their lungs to get out and we are keeping your money! We felt terrorized, deeply, a bad start to a Balloon Fiesta weekend. We shall return to Albuquerque, yet never stay at this or any Wyndham Hotel every again. We left, found two good rooms in a few minutes, online. I was hoping for a swift refund and awaited your management’s response. Yes I could write a few pages, if I must I will, for now, perhaps this outline agrees with your licensees. We were never contacted after placing this complaint. This was submitted to the Wyndham Hotels Customer Service with the promise to respond within two weeks; that was a month ago, no response. If you want a nightmare, stay at this hotel or any Wyndham worldwide.
Not worth it, it’s a nickel and dime kinda place.
6.0Used to be legit, now the deposits fees are more than the room itself. ESPECIALLY if you have a pet. They make you do a pre check in on line. It’s just a data grab, you still have to do all of it again at the hotel. Bank with USAA they called asking if I was indeed staying there because the multiple $300 charges flagged as suspicious activity. It’s not worth the headache my opinion.
Albuquerque Ramada by Wyndham not worth the money
4.0Poor room and bathroom condition. Incorrect remotes for TV. Really poor breakfast. Lack of front desk concern for quickly resolving problems.
Worst Wyndham Hotel ever!!!!
2.0Our room was a MESS. We had torn curtain and bed skirt, stains on the carpet and on the old worn-out couch. Damaged furniture in the room. And a VERY dangerous light switch in the bathroom. The patio door came of it's track and there is a gapping opening in the doors in the back of the hotel which did not seem safe. Trash was all over the grounds. The pool was dirty and nasty. Scum was floating on top of the pool. This hotel needs a MAJOR update and cleaning with repairs. Wyndham won't help us setting this dispute and we can't get our points back. So, we are done with Wyndham.
Price cheep
8.0Bad need of maintenance. Tub was ugly, room broken furniture, pool cold, hot tub almost empty water barely covered seat, paper plates very thin, scrambled eggs little runny. Hash browns ok sausage ok, pan cake machine ok staff very nice and price was very cheep.
Run down and dirty. They clearly dont care about the conditions in any of their places
2.0After doing a pre check in to avoid the delays, we arrived only to find out they did not complete anyone's pre check in's. It was an hour long wait on a long line out the door with a 4 pm check in. The room was disgustingly dirty. Clearly not cleaned or vacuumed with deep stains in the shower and mold growing in a few areas in the bathroom. The dresser was beat up with an entire large drawer missing completely. Our other room had mold growing on the walls and the TV was broken. Just disgusting and obviously no maintenance program. Ive stayed in 3 Wyndham properties this year in 3 different states, and they were all like this. Horrible
