Beautiful, clean room with an awesome king size bed and friendly service at a great price! Also beautiful view!
10.0I was very pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was in the middle of the city, but it was very nice, and I felt safe. It also had a huge swimming pool where I was able to do laps because I had it all to myself! It was also within walking distance of both the Lucille Ball museum and the National Comedy Museum, as well as the Robert H. Jackson mansion. And there were many very cute diners very close by, with great breakfasts. We did not try the breakfast at the DoubleTree but I'm sure it was good as well since it had made to order omelets. This trip was for our 25th anniversary, and it did not disappoint!

Eh - overpriced and a bit weird
6.0While this place is technically a standard doubletree, it was oddly overpriced for the lack of staff and sparse amenities. The staff that there were, such as a single person handling the breakfast or at the front desk, were very nice and did their best… but for example, it proved impossible to get extra towels and the room only came with 2 towels. The breakfast is an additional $21 but most items (eggs and sausage/bacon) were empty when we arrived, breads were all stale and wrapped in plastic wrap, oatmeal tasted off, yogurt was generic and warm, free breakfast at other hotels def better. There also seemed to be security problems. Key card was needed for elevator (fine) but also for restrooms in the ‘restaurant’? Weird. Pool room smelled musty and water was cold, no hot tub. Parking was also difficult and spread over 2 parking structures, weirdly inconvenient. I wouldn’t stay here again.
