The bed was comfortable. Parking was good and the cleaning staff was friendly.

− It started off with check-in. When I booked online, I had requested (and subsequently been approved and billed for) a bottle of champagne, a fruit and cheese plate, and late checkout, which was described as 2-4 PM. I had to argue and show my email confirmation to get the front desk clerk just to look in the system for my requests, and when she confirmed them, I was told I would have to come back down to the front desk to get the champagne and the cheese plate. Any other hotel I've ever stayed at would have had these already in the room, or, at the very least, brought them up to the room. Not exactly the romantic surprise I had planned for my husband. The room itself smelled musty, the blinds had holes in them, and there was only half of a shower door, like in Europe. I paid for an executive room, and didn't even get a full shower door or even a shower curtain. Also, you can't access any kind of streaming apps on the TV, so you better be able to cast or mirror from your phone - if you can get it to connect. My android connected, my husband's iphone did not. Oh, and there was only one small elevator on our side of the building for three floors. It was old, slow, and audibly struggling. And remember how I said I paid for late check out that I was told would be at 2:00? Our keycards stopped working at 12:00. I feel ripped off, and I won't be back.
