10.0I was actually impressed when I 1st walked into the 2 bedroom cabin! It was more than I had expected! Although, I was mostly only there to sleep and shower for the 4 days/nights I was there. The showers and beds were great!!! The Beekman 1802 shampoo, conditioner, & bodywash are really nice! I ordered some to replace what I've been using when I got home! There is no coffee pot in the room and breakfast is not included. I brought my hot pot for making tea & coffee, which I, also, brought. You can purchase breakfast at the other 2 hotels on the same property, which are all owned by the same company. There aren't any closets; I brought a collapsible wardrobe to hang things on. As I stated, the shower has good pressure and hot water. The beds have good mattresses and present a good night's sleep! This season, 2026, they added a mini-fridge and microwave to the cabins! Since it was their 1st season to do so, I didn't know. So I bought a 12volt refridgerator/freezer to bring with me. Probably wouldn't have purchased it had I known, but am thankful to have it now!

4.0Staying here felt like stepping back in time—and not in a good way. The last time I stayed somewhere that felt this dated was at my grandmother’s house over 60 years ago. The furniture is old, chipped and well past its best. While the property proudly promotes its heritage, there is a big difference between preserving character and neglecting maintenance. The photos show beautifully stained wooden cabins, but unless they have had an exceptionally harsh winter, they don’t appear to have been maintained for quite some time. The walls are paper thin, so don’t expect a peaceful night’s sleep if your neighbours are noisy. The room did include a TV, fridge and microwave, which were useful. However, I tried watching the World Cup and every time the fridge compressor kicked in, the TV picture suffered interference. On the positive side, the bathroom was modern, clean and perfectly adequate for our two-night stay. This property has plenty of potential, but it really needs bringing into the 21st century. A sympathetic refurbishment that retains its historic character while providing modern comfort would make a huge difference.

10.0The rooms were clean and comfortable and it had an EXCELLENT and very comfortable king size bed. I could tell that the rooms had been recently updated. And the price was very reasonable!
