7.0Breakfast was good, plenty choice. Evening meal again plenty choice. Looked after really well. Close to Cbeebies land which was good for us
Welcoming and very comfortable stay near Alton Towers
10.0Peakstones Inn was very easy to find on our Sat Nav. We chose to stay here being close to Alton Towers and to support the local residents, we only live near Pontefract, but it was nice to cut down the travel in 1 day. Peakstones Inn is a short 5-10 minutes drive away from Alton Towers which was excellent. There was plenty of parking spaces as we drove into the car park, we arrived about 6pm and it was nice to have flexibility in arrival time. Me and my two children were greeted by the lovely hostess Margaret and her family, they were very welcoming! My 2 children were tired and we did not use the restaurant downstairs but next time we need to try it, we enjoyed chilling out in the bedroom that evening. The views out our window were gorgeous, we could see rolling hills. Our beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The building itself is wonderful, very quirky and full of character. We went for breakfast the next morning and the team went above and beyond, we had a lovely chat too with the lady who served our breakfasts. It was very delicious and it set me up for the day. Thank You so much for a memorable and very pleasant stay - we will definitely be back!
