10.0small, quiet area! perfect for families! pool is small, so keep that in mind if you love the pool. but honestly with cenotes less than 8 min away, that was not my concern! the lady and her son are super nice and helpful! i loved the room! so cute!!! my gps had a hard time finding it- so ask for nearest point to type in instead!my son's favorite hotel there lol

10.0Like: The location is home away from home. Dianely was a wonderful hostess and Anita was very conscientious. Everything is spotless, brand new and well decorated. We stayed for 6 nights. Breakfast was different every morning and always included fresh fruit in addition to the main course of an omelette, huevos rancheros or pancakes. There are only two rooms, so very intimate. We stayed in both of them and we liked them equally. The bathrooms are very large and nicely decorated. Both beds were firm for a good night's sleep. We had full use of the kitchen and fridge, which was great for those nights when we wanted to stay put or for preparing our own lunch for day trips. The house is located only two blocks from the colectivos (shared taxis) that you can take to get to different towns around Valladolid or directly to and from Ek Balam, only 50 MXN per person. Also two blocks from Candelaria Park where we found a great Italian restaurant and a good coffee shop. Although the house is located on one of the streets used by the bus lines, we were surprised at how quiet it was at night. All in all, we strongly recommend staying here. Less convenient: Some might find that the house is a bit far from the main square, about 5 city blocks. We did not find this to be an inconvenience, which was greatly outweighed by the quiet, quality and service. As there are no closets, we would suggest coat pegs or shelves.
