Perfect Escape
10.0A lovely inn for a quick getaway or a long stay. Our room was well appointed, clean and peaceful. The gardens on the property added to the feeling of escaping the world for a bit. Easy parking and downtown Portsmouth being a quick walk away made for a perfect holiday.

10.0Beautiful inn! The room and bathroom were clean, modern and updated while maintaining a proper Portsmouth/seacoast feel. The bed was super comfortable! Located just a short walk to all the great restaurants, bars and other attractions in downtown Portsmouth! I loved that they have their own parking lot as well. Super convenient! Definitely hoping to stay here again in the near future!

Clean, beautiful, and relaxing stay.
10.0Martin Hill Inn is a lovely place to stay when visiting Portsmouth. We stayed in the Cathedral King room in the Main House. The room was spacious and beautiful and one of cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. I loved the mini-fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, and keyless entry. Parking was free and simple. The bed was comfortable, the street was generally quiet, and the water, shopping, and restaurants just a short walk away. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. All communication with the manager and housekeeper was done via text. Both were pleasant and communicative without being invasive. The only thing that would be a nice addition to this inn would be if there was a community microwave in the hall by the ice dispenser.
Beautiful accommodations with special touches
10.0This inn is several historic buildings with rooms of different designs and sizes. We stayed in Sea Witch. The The room is well thought out for such an old building and very comfortable. Not only do they have blow dryers and coffee makers in the rooms but also a clothes steamer and plush robes with slippers. The Inn also has a beautiful garden with several seating areas and a fire pit. Most areas of interest are less than a mile away. Free parking is a plus.
