Nice Property
8.0This was our 1st stay in the Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach Courtyard and we liked it particularly the fantastic pool setup. The pool is surrounded by the property, in effect like a little courtyard with attractive landscaping, palms, chairs, umbrellas, towels etc. Our king room was nice with a great shower, and we had a patio door right to our car for loading and unloading. Check in and out was ultra efficient, the ice machine was good, and they had a nice lobby with a small restaurant and bar, yet with their limited hours neither were open when we checked in. The only thing missing was a continental breakfast that is offered in some of Marriott's other properties, like Town Place Suites where we will be staying when we are back in July. As far as all the recent negative reviews there were some nicks and dings we noticed also. A lot of these you expect to see in lower or more moderate hotels but some clientele are just rough and don't know how to take care of things no matter where they stay. We would definitely return again if the price points were favorable.
