Weekend Getaway
6.0Great location, rooms are quite expensive for what they are with the renovations occuring. And noisy if facing towards the main road.
Great hotel… Location, rooms for the price.
8.0I stayed here February 2025 and the pool was closed for renovations. Back again in March 2026 for the pool still closed yet no work has been done in the 13 months. Other then that great location and room for the price in Perth.
Most disappointing experience
2.0The rooms at the hotel are tired, the pool is out of action, staffing levels at reception are inadequate to deal with checking in; breakfast buffet is plentiful but low quality: it would be much better to go to some of the options on the esplanade. There is no signage explaining how to access the hotel by car. However the worse part of the experience was contacting the hotel by email in the hour after we checked-out to report an item of clothing and receiving zero response, despite chasing up with a second email the following day.
Room cleanliness and breakfast options
6.0We asked for a twin room. Found two single beds right next to each other, so we had to push them apart. Then found the carpet underneath dirty and with paper litter. Hadn’t seen a vacuum cleaner for god knows how long. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. And only buffet option in Straits Cafe for breakfast. No à la carte - as in you could not just order an egg on toast or a continental breakfast. Coffee was good however.
Not so executive stay
2.0Quality has gone down hill Room wasn’t too clean Not utensils or dish wear Mini fridge wasn’t proper stocked with usual things No outdoor table and chairs at a beach view hotel. Aircon in room wasn’t cooling properly
Disappointed anniversary
2.0Very disappointed in our stay, not clean, and shower was not working properly burnt my feet.The view was okay but not for $389
