3.0Not much to say, overall disappointed.
− Where to begin... First of all, don't be fooled by the pictures on the website. They are carefully framed to hide the nearby road and the reality of the actual surroundings. The swimming pool is practically in the parking lot, right next to a public trail where passing walkers can casually watch you swim. The rooms are incredibly basic and outdated, and the entire facility feels old and grimy. Even the elevator doors seem like they're just waiting to crush you. Then there's the breakfast, which was just plain horrible. The omelet had more in common with my shoe sole than an actual egg. And I don't even want to start on the turkey sausage patty, I could have used it as a sponge! TV screens all over the place. Who wants to watch TV in a hotel cafeteria ?! Oh yeah, funny thing though. Two ducks where waiting in front of the exit door trying to rob some breakfast ! Overall, this place felt like a complete rip-off. When we drove off on Highway 1 toward Big Sur, we passed several small mom-and-pop inns down by Carmel-by-the-Sea, and I really wish we had stayed at one of those instead. They may be modest, but they undoubtedly offer much better value for your money. This hotel simply isn't worth it. Save your cash and go elsewhere.

2.0− The carpet in our room was wet, perhaps from a shampoo, and it smelled like bleach. An alarm sounded in the hallway - we asked them to turn it off twice, and it would go off, then start again an hour later.
Great day, great location, great place to bring your family
8.0The location of the hotel is great. The amenities and continental breakfast the hotel offers is also great. The pool was also a great experience.
− The hotel parking lot was very far from the elevator. The hotel does not offer many luggage carts. There is only one elevator so you will wait a long time before you can get up to the fourth or fifth floor. The staff for hosting seem pretty decent however we did feel a certain attitude from them.
