We came to Opal Sands Resort for a two-night staycation from Orlando, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived until the moment we checked out, every single staff member made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. The level of hospitality here is something you don't come across often—everyone was warm, friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The resort itself is absolutely stunning. Every area was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had breathtaking views of the Gulf. You can tell the entire team takes incredible pride in making sure every detail is perfect. The restaurants and bars were phenomenal. The food was outstanding, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was consistently exceptional. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying dinner, or grabbing a cocktail, every experience was top-notch. What impressed us most was how accommodating everyone was. It never felt like we were just another guest—they truly made us feel special throughout our entire stay. Living in Orlando, we have plenty of options for a quick getaway, but after this experience, Opal Sands has become our favorite staycation destination. This wasn't just a hotel stay, it was an experience we'll be talking about for a long time. If you're looking for luxury, incredible service, amazing dining, breathtaking views, and a team that truly cares about their guests, look no further. We can't wait to come back. I just finished my stay at Opal Sands with my daughter. I ended up staying at Opal Sands after the Wyndham down the street wouldn't price match their OWN price and had the most horrible customer service at both the corporate and local hotel level (they lost a customer for life over $70). I cancelled with Wyndham and was able to book for less at Opal Sands. Our room was on the 14th floor as had a wonderful view of the gulf. Check in was easy and we received a text daily inquiring if we needed anything. The room was spacious with a decent sized bathroom. There is a guest pantry down the hall with free bottled water (there's also a water refilling station on the lobby level), snacks and fruit. This was so helpful to grab and go and to stay hydrated. Each room has a nice balcony to sit and watch the bay. We were able to see dolphins enjoying a swim in the gulf. We also saw two large sea lions making their way down the gulf. As part of the stay, you have access to Opal Sol which is connected by a breezeway. There is a door to walk totally inside through the meeting rooms area which is helpful as it rained a couple of times during our stay. Opal Sol has two pools where Opal Sands has one. We did the pool every day we were there as it was so enjoyable. We were able to get lounge chairs with umbrellas without issue. The workers at the pool were all so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the food and drinks from the pool side bar. The pool was by far our favorite part of the stay. We did do the beach one part of a day but it was way too hot to truly enjoy it compared to the cool breeze by the pool. The beach is a short walk and is manned by an outside company. Luckily the young teen that was manning our side was too busy on his phone to stop by and charge us so we got to use the cabana for free. We dined each night at the hotel. One night we did Drift for lunch and we dined at SeaGuini the other two nights for dinner. Both places have great selections and the meals were good. SeaGuini was definitely our favorite and I had the best steak I've ever had (even better than high end steakhouses). The pasta is homemade and you can taste it. We frequented the Market in Opal Sol daily, if not twice a day for either breakfast, coffee or to grab snacks for the beach. The prices are very reasonable. I was impressed that the lady working there remembered our order from day 1 on day 2. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we would definitely stay again.

We love one room suite guff front view. Room was beyond our expectations. We feel like ours own beach condo :)) I would definitely recommend to our friends and families members.❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Amazing Beach Week

Everything about our visit was exceptional. From the moment of our arrival until we drove away the staff was absolutely amazing. Although I would like to point out Morgan and Troy who were above all expiations at our pool side visits as well as Dominic and Hallie at Sea Guini who were also above and beyond expiation with our dining experience. We could not have asked for a better location, atmosphere or experience. We definitely are planning a return visit.
