Très bel établissement avec chambre et salle de bain spacieuses. Piscine de grande taille et petit déjeuner très bon (buffet et choix de plats à la carte). Personnel très attentionné. Saturday market accessible à pieds, avec plan de la ville expliqué et fourni par la réception

Beautiful Hotel, Ruined by Ants, a Cockroach & Disappointing Customer Service

The hotel itself is beautiful, and my favourite part of my stay was the breakfast and food, which were excellent.

− Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by cleanliness issues. During my two-night stay, I had ants in my room from the first day and then discovered a cockroach on the second day. I have stayed in many 3- to 5-star hotels throughout Thailand and have never encountered a cockroach in a hotel room before. When I reported the cockroach, a staff member came to my room with a broom and killed it beside the bathtub. I mentioned that I believed it was already dead as it was lying on its back, but he said it wasn't. Unfortunately, I had already filled the bathtub and was looking forward to a relaxing bath. After seeing the cockroach killed beside it, I no longer felt comfortable using it. I felt it would have been more appropriate to remove it from the room before dealing with it elsewhere. What disappointed me most was how my concerns were handled. At checkout, I politely asked whether any partial compensation could be considered. Rather than acknowledging how the ants and cockroach affected my stay, the focus was on why I hadn't reported the ants on the first day. I hadn't mentioned them earlier because I didn't want to make a fuss and hoped it was an isolated issue. I understand that insects can occasionally occur in tropical climates. However, I would expect a five-star hotel to have high cleanliness standards and to handle situations like this with empathy and professionalism. While I appreciated the apology and that the room was cleaned afterwards, this did not change the experience I had during my stay. Although I understand their explanation regarding the ants, I did report the cockroach immediately while I was still staying at the hotel. What was supposed to be one of the highlights of my trip became one of its biggest disappointments. Booking.com Customer Service has also contacted the hotel on my behalf regarding my refund request, and at the time of writing I have been informed that they have not yet responded to Booking.

One of the best hotel i've been, everything was amazing: the staff was extremely friendly and exactly what would you expect from a 5 star hotel. The room was stunning: very big with a lovely bathtub. The breakfast was also very good with a big menu where you can order everything you want and a nice buffet (as an european i would add more sweet choices personally) but everything i ordered was amazing. I also enjoyed the pool. I would definitely stay here again.
