− The stairs. Thousands of stairs. It states mobility issues. I thought walking and hiking. Not stairs to our room

− This is kinda pathetic but at dinner (The Trustee’s Table) the waitress only brought out 2 very small pieces of bread. But the other tables had a whole plate full…..🙄
For the cost, I would highly reccomend. Shaker Village is beautiful and worth a visit!
8.0Shaker Village is gorgeous and I was so impressed that our overnight stay included admission to the grounds and daily tours. We got in a little later than we had hoped, but had time to tour the grounds before our dinner reservation. The food was delicious (we ordered the KY Sampler and fried chicken) and the staff were all so friendly and kind. I was a little nervous to take my baby, but everyone was so welcoming and engaging. The building we stayed at had a living area that anyone could us, a kitchen room, and some books / games. I thought that was nice, especially if we had brought family with us and needed a gathering space. Our room was spacious enough, had a window unit AC (little loud, but didn't bother us), and had a nice bath and shower.
− I would have loved to see the buildings marked more clearly. Each building could have it's name on the front / back. It made it a bit difficult to find, as the map isn't exactly to size. Make a note there are some additional fees -like a historic fee- added to your bill. Our room was a bit dusty and had some dust bunnies on the floor. I see everyone else has had wonderful experiences with their room being clean. I am wondering if our room was just "old" and maybe some air movement caused stuff from under the bed to move about. I had a baby that was crawling, so I was a bit disappointed...
Great setting in an old time Shaker village.
9.0It is a first class restaurant. Very nice. Fresh food made from scratch. Reasonably priced. Employees were very friendly and helpful.
− Wifi repeater was weak and we couldn't get online. The wifi was strong at the restaurant, so it must have been the repeater.
