A sophisticated Onsen Hotel in front of a Lake of Dreams on Hokkaido.
10.0The sense of place this hotel represents. It is in a small and local Hokkaido tourist village but a world apart from what one might expect. A place of simple elegance, quiet confidence, and sophistication at the highest level. I was there for one night on a trip around the world that started on Hokkaido. I could have stayed longer and will return
− Nothing not to like here...If I were stretching I'd say offer more of a push to take advantage of the very charming activities on offer. I was there only a day and they were not offered to me but clearly could have been. There's a big push to inform you about the free drinks, food, etc. --which is nice-- but experiences and not booze-- create lasting memories.

Absolutely fabulous, the staff including the chef were wonderful. We will want to come back in the future.
