− Too many personal items in the property. Lift that you can't call, someone always needs to be in it. Road noise. Easy to lock yourself out.

Fab outdoor dining area with barbecue, the garden is lovely with small birds and butterflies. The location is safe and private. Plenty of towels and comfortable beds

− The location can be windy at times, the lift to the upstairs area is tricky for young children to use

The house provides a beautiful view of the Portugal sea.

− It already went wrong with the reservation, because the accommodation does not accept payments via booking.com, but via external payment websites where you simply have to leave your sensitive credit card details. I received a rude answer from the accommodation that I should not come. This was already a first sign not to continue with this. However, everything seemed to go well at check-in, until I smelled a moldy smell in the house with my family in the evening. After an examination the next morning with daylight, all window frames and walls were found to be full of mold in an advanced stage. After a telephone contact with the accommodation, she did not want to offer me any help at first. I had indicated that I had to leave immediately due to the health of my baby (2 months) and toddler (1.5 years). eventually José Alhinho came and said he didn't mind mold because he and his family also sleep among the mice. I was very shocked by this and left immediately. I would get my money back. After a week it turned out that I had not received my money back. I went to their office and rude manager Rita said I will not get a refund. There was an argument and I said I'm not leaving here until I get my money. With the cooperation of booking.com, and a fight between Rita and booking, and with the fact that I threatened to call the police, it was still possible to recover part of the accommodation costs. Welkhome is a disgrace to the culture of Portugal. Incredibly bad how they welcome tourists. they should be ashamed!

if the idea of an elevator to get up to the second floor dosent bother you go for it! the views are spectacular and guin

Excellent views and location. The property was very windy at moments. The last day and a half there was an issue with the water/hot water that was not resolved during our stay. I would recommend the property to others.
