− The air conditioning in the room needs some service as it left some slippery condensation on the floor. Larger swimming pool needs more cleaning as water was cloudy

9.0Breakfast was good. Beach is excellent. Just a few steps from the swimming pool. Staff are extremely polite and friendly, not to mention helpful.
− Would love to have seen a kids' pool with playing facilities like slides. There is no valet parking which should be considered by the hotel.

8.0Excellent staff, especially Arun from Nepal on a traineeship was very helpful and approachable. Beautiful area and accommodation comfort and cleanliness was excellent. The two restaurants were enjoyable and particularly enjoyed the Italian restaurant. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
− The pools were lovely but sadly they needed an adult only and a children’s pool. If family want to throw balls around and splash and scream that’s fine, but not for adults who want to enjoy a quieter area. The facility offered a deli which showed pictures of different types of breads and sadly there were no bread or savoury options whatsoever, only drinks and cakes. This hotel could offer so much more if it was marketed correctly to overseas travellers as it is such a beautiful area. With the deli offering light snacks, sandwiches, toast products and healthy meals would go a long way. Also, perhaps a wellness retreat program utilising the extra function rooms for yoga, Tai Chi, etc. or the beach areas on fine days perhaps. The Sampam Bar could also publicise promotions on beer and cocktails e.g. buy one beer at 30 ringgit, buy the second at 20 ringgit, etc or happy hour prices. The way this is structured for the Malaysian families is fine, but this depends on whether this company wishes to incorporate more overseas visitors and expand tourism for the area.
