10.0Lovely hilltop location among the vineyards. Close to restaurants, sights, vineyards, Cadillac Maison des Vins, amazing farmers market. Your hosts are around, friendly and accommodating.

Beautiful chateaux with a warm family
10.0The hosts and their family were great. A wonderful chateaux in a great setting overlooking the medieval town of Rions with wider vistas of the Garonne river and extensive wine valleys and Forrests. 50 acres of vineyard and they make and sell their own wide range of AOC wines which are beautiful and you can have a personalised tasting. You can witness the production facilities and get a sense of the whole lifecycle from vine to mouth. A great base to stay with a tranquil, warm and earthly experience. Day trips to Bordeaux, San Emilion, various Chateaux’s, the wonderful coastal region of Arcachon, with the largest sand dune in Europe (dune pilat), giving a wondering vantage point over the coast, and Atlantic sea air. The town of Cadillac is very close and offers some great food option's. A truly relaxing and invigorating experience!
