9.0We had a simple, clean room with AC and private bathroom. The common space is nice, you can cook in the kitchen, store fruit in the fridge or sit or lie around in little cosy places, so you don't have to sit on a hotel bed when being home. The location is great- quiet little road right next to one that has shops, cafes, good Restaurants and live music at night. The staff was super nice and helpful, also with booking of tours. Strong recommendation!

10.0I had a wonderful stay at Happy Buddha! The place is cozy, clean, and full of good vibes — it immediately feels like home. The atmosphere is relaxing, the decoration is beautiful, and the location is perfect. Ardi is an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and always ready to help. I truly enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!
− RAS. There is a mosque nearby so you can hear the call to prayer, but it was not a problem at all for me :)
Wunderschönes Hostel mit tollem Garten und Host
10.0Ich hatte eine absolut wunderbare Zeit im Happy Buddha Hostel! Die Lage ist perfekt in Prowirotaman. Besser könnte man es sich wirklich nicht wünschen. Das Hostel hat eine total familiäre Atmosphäre, sodass man sich sofort willkommen und zuhause fühlt. Der Host Ardi ist wirklich die netteste Person, die man sich vorstellen kann. Er hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und gibt unfassbar gute Tipps, vor allem, wenn man vegetarisch oder vegan ist. Aber auch für alle anderen Fragen, von Ausflügen bis zur Organisation vor Ort zum Borobudur oder anderen Sightseeing Spots ist er eine grosse Hilfe. Das Hostel ist der ideale Ort, wenn man offen ist Kontakte zu knüpfen und Leute kennenzulernen. Man trifft dort super leicht andere Reisende, aber auch Einheimische. Der Mix ist einfach perfekt. Für mich persönlich war der wunderschöne Garten und der ganze positive Vibe des Hostels ein absolutes Highlight.
− Wie schon viele geschrieben haben, ist neben dran eine Moschee - aber auch hierfür hatte Happy Buddha eine Lösung und verteilt kostenlos Oropax. Für mich war das so kein Problem.
