Communication problems and lack of security
7.0There is a lot to like about Crossroads House. It is presented very well, it is very clean, breakfast was excellent and my room was comfortable
− I had a problem with my booking, my fault, I contacted booking com and they tried to deal with it for me. They got no reply from Crossroads House. I tried to contact Crossroads House on the telephone and I got no reply either . Not good I arrived at Crossroads at tea time the porch door was wide open the front door was unlocked and the place was like the Marie Celeste. No one there. There was a diary on the hall table telling me my room number. Any one could have walked in. There was no security at all. I felt unsettled, it was open house. You hear so much on TV about problems at Travelodge with intruders well at least they have staff on site and locks on the outer doors. It was all so in personable

Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal und alles, was man braucht. Gerne wieder.
8.0Schönes Zimmer, liebevoll gestaltet. Platz für eine Person reichte völlig aus. Dusche war sehr gut. Frühstück wurde täglich nach Wunsch von 7-9 Uhr zubereitet. Alles war da, was man für einen guten Start brauchte. Die Lage war passend, um zu verschiedenen Themen (Hadrian‘s Wall oder Lake District, sowie nur eine 15minütige Fahrt nach Schottland) zu gelangen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
− Etwas hellhörig, das liegt aber auch daran, dass sich nicht alle Gäste daran halten, dass man aufeinander Rücksicht nehmen sollte. (Das Schließen von Türen)
