Overall, a good experience and clean place to stay.
8.0Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean.
− Prior person's waste not emptied from room wastebasket. Could use a proper counter for kitchen items. Found the table a bit too small. All the kitchen items fit but there was little room to put a plate and cup while making toast, coffee, etc.
Excellent property in Waiouru.
8.0Well located in Waiouru. Comfortable beds, excellent shower and heat pump. Good sky tv.

Got bumped from one bed to studio which didnt accomodate our family had to get another hotel which they helped with but
4.0We didn’t get to stay here as the one bedroom we booked for three people they bumped us to a studio to accommodate a larger group booking but failed to see we were three people.
Host was lovely and we had great stay. Will definitely go back.
9.0The location is close to the restaurants, walking distance to the army museum. 20 minutes drive to Ohakune for new world and other restaurants. More than an hour to Whakapapa. The rooms were warm although outside it was -1 degrees. Bads were comfortable and having an air fryer made dinner so easy.

− Many things, no kitchen sink, washroom washbasin was like too small, you can't even wash your hands properly.
We had a very pleasant night and met friendly and lovely owners
