Cancellation without a reason.
2.0They cancelled my reservation 2 weeks before me coming there without providing any reason. I was trying to contact the hotel over 10 times but they do not pick up and rejected the call each time. Booking.com could not contact them either. The hotel is beautiful but unfortunately I do not recommend going there or even considering it as an option since they are very unprofessional and lack any type of customer service. There is a lot of better options in Chefchaouen than this one. And if the hotel sees this review, I would love them to contact me, even via email since they are not responding to them as well.
Great location and great place
10.0Beautiful area and riad. There is a lot of walking involved to get around the city but that is part of the fun. The riad was a place that we did not expect and thanks to Ali at Iconic Morocco Tours we were able to get in. We had a great time and highly recommend it!
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
2.0You could look into my room from the only window. The sheets were torn, and there was a bug in my bed. The showerhead didn’t screw on well, so the water sprayed everywhere. When I asked to change rooms, they said no. When I asked for a refund, they said no.
A gem of a hotel in blue city
10.0Incredibly beautiful with gorgeous view of the blue town, great food, great staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms, incredible pool area (little resort) and you can walk to town). Highly recommend it when visiting this beautiful town and its people
Beautiful Medina's
8.0hotel was chosen as part of our group travel. we were about 25 tourist. hotel does not have lifts. access to the hotel is limited. taxis can only come halfway and you have to walk the alley ways...so pack light. however it was a beautiful experience staying over here in this boutique hotel filled with a myriad of shops and nearby to the famous blue walls of the medina for pics. breakfast consisted of warm breads with honey, mint tea and olives and jams. a simple yet filling spread. loved the home made peanut butter! each room is different. our room was built for a hobbit as you had to bend to enter the room. all part of the charm. small cupboard in room and bathroom was very small..(picture cruise ship style) .no hairdryer in bathroom however you can get hairdryer or iron from reception. free wifi. limited bathroom amenities. hotel was always clean and neat. the location was perfect as hotel was near to restaurants and the famous Square for some lovely shopping. right outside the hotel you had stores selling beautiful carpets and ceramic plates and ornaments. i enjoyed my experience of staying here for 2 days. suited for short stays . staff were respectful but you hardly saw them. felt very safe in chefchaouen.
Decent Hotel
8.0We had 3 rooms. The heat on one of the rooms did not work the entire time. Otherwise a cute Botique hotel! Breakfast though limited was fresh and delicious! The service was good and we enjoyed the quaint alleyways and rooms! The pool area was pretty! It was too cold to go in the water!
