Older hotel beginning renos that are badly needed. Very over priced for such small rooms

− Small bathroom counter, toilet hard to flush, seat broke, shower hard to turn on and off, poor drainage and would send blast of cold water randomly

− Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Hated the TV remote and basic cable, noisy air conditioning unit
Overall it was good. I would stay again.

− The tv kept glitching every few minutes. Would have to turn it off for a few minutes then back on to get it to work. The bathroom door was a little wonky and wouldn’t close all the way. And the room had a strong icy hot smell to it unpon arrival.

10.0After reading the reviews decided to stay here. Great decision!! Manager Jacob was awesome and deserves praise for his leadership. Housekeeping manager and staff deserve a big shot out. Everything clean!! Front desk fabulous!! Best digital keys—they always worked!!
We will not be coming back to this hotel.
3.0We didn't get to enjoy breakfast due to the amount of people at the hotel.
− The lighting in the room and bathroom were horrible. There was dust on the light fixtures. Paint chipping throughout the room. The hallways smelled musty. Someone spit in the elevator and we told the front desk the day we checked in. No one cleaned it the entire weekend. I woke up early on purpose so we could get the hell out of there and the spit was still in the elevator at check out.
Not for me
4.0I did not actually stay here. I checked in and was very unhappy. They are under construction, so it may be temporary, but it felt dirty and strange. It's in a very busy congested area too. Luckily, the front staff was VERY accomodating and allowed me to check back out without hassle immediately after checking in. It had a wierd cleaning smell, the floor we were on had carpet partially ripped up, paint tape or something all around walls, it felt dark and dingy. We were in town for a soccer tournament, and there was another teammate who stayed there who said their experience was ok, and I do tend to be a little picky, so maybe it just wasn't for me. I've been a little hit or miss lately with Hampton's. I ended up paid significantly more for a nicer hotel and was happy. I do appreciate their accomodating me.
