Not a Five Star Hotel

I was grateful to find a hotel at such short notice (less than 2 weeks) as the one I had booked unfortunately had a fire and closed. I saw that it was 5 star spa and wellness hotel and the rooms were reasonably priced. I know in the Czech Republic you can legally claim you are a 5 star hotel which is done through a self assessment and I can confirm that this is exactly what this hotel has done. Upon arrival, I asked for access to the car park and they tried to deter me by saying there was a cheaper parking lot about 1km away (15 minute walk- which I saw a young couple do with their baby, pram and suitcase) as there is a limited amount of spaces. I said no I wanted to park at the hotel so they gave me a pass. Once parked we checked in and we were offered welcome drinks (no choice in what it was - I believe it was beton but couldn't confirm), which we didn't finish once checking in so picked them up to take to our room and the desk said they needed the glasses back.... Ok never had to have that clarification before but sure ok. We headed to our room (junior suite) and on first look it was incredibly spacious and we were happy with it. This didn't last long... There was mold and clearly a leak that had happened but not rectified (pic attached) in the separate toilet. There was also mold in the bathroom which had no functioning vent for the steam from the shower. It was very off putting to see and I was shocked to see this in a 5 star hotel. We went for a walk out the front and noticed tiles from the fountain were broken off, the fountain wasn't working, there were weeds everywhere and a chlorine smell from the swimming pool that was so strong, that I gagged. I felt sorry for anyone who actually got into the pool.

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend

Vorsicht, hier handelt es sich definitiv nicht um ein 5-Sterne Hotel, eher 3-Sterne.

Lage

− Dieses Hotel wird als 5-Sterne Hotel beworben und das ist es absolut nicht. Keine Bade-/Handtücher bei der Ankunft im Zimmer, aufgerissene Snacks in der Minibar im Zimmer, es riecht sehr unangenehm auf dem Zimmer, beim Frühstück, wohlgemerkt wir reden von einem „5-Sterne“ Hotel gab es keine Brötchen, kein Baguette. Lediglich eine Sorte helle Toastbrot und eine Sorte dunkles Brot. Sie sollten sehr genau lesen, bevor Sie dieses Hotel buchen. Absolut enttäuschendes und überteuertes „Erlebnis“.

Skvělý pokoj, čistota, vůně a pokojová kosmetika. Ochotný a schopný personál. Pěkné Spa prostory. Vše řešeno primárně ve prospšch hosta.

− Pár drobností: jídla z teplého snídaňového bufetu nebyla dostatečně teplá, drobné poškození zdí na chodbách, vstup nedoladěný, Spa by mohlo být prostornější, ochlazovací bazének sauny málo studený, ale rozumím proč. Poškození tlačítek ve sprchách (tomu zase nerozumím proč).
