Extremely disappointing as we didn't get what we were expecting.

− The outside garden area and pool were poorly maintained, extremely untidy, and unclean. Certain aspects of the apartment had been prepared for our stay, such as clean bedding and towels. However, the floor was unwashed, and some surfaces had not been wiped over. The photos on Booking.com do not comply with how the property looks in reality We paid a large amount of money to stay for one week. I was expecting something much better based on the rental fee.

5.0The apartment was in the center of Montefalco and near everything we needed to be close to.
− The apartment grounds are not kept well. The stairs leading to the apartment had mud and slime growing on them and I slipped down the steps walking down into the apartment. The pool was a big reason we rented this room, but the pool was green when we arrived and there were mosquito larvae growing in the water. I messaged the owner/manager of the apartment about the pool and he was responsive and apologized and said that we could use another pool nearby that he had access to. That was nice he did that, but honestly, if you are going to advertise a pool on the property it should not be in the shape it was in. Upon leaving four days later, the pool still looked the same and was still green so I think it never really is usable.

8.0The location was fantastic and the apartment was very clean. Once we did meet the person with the keys she was very nice. Then we also were allowed to see the other two apartments which were very nice as well.
− The person was not on site to give us the keys and we had to ask neighbors to help us. I wish we we were told in the advertisement that this particular property had 30 steps to get up to the top bedroom and 15 to the first bedroom and I was traveling with my 87 year old aunt. I would rent one of the other apartments with less stairs.

10.0The apartment was charming and comfortable. The scent of flowers in the courtyard is everywhere. The pool was lovely. The location in Monte Falco is perfect -- a short walk to dinner or coffee.
− The shower is a little small and it takes a bit of time for the hot water to get hot.
Would definitely book again.
9.0The location was amazing, in the central part of the old town of Montefalco. The property was large, quiet, and nice, with great space to spread out. Natalia, the person who greeted us and showed us to the apartment, was very kind, but spoke little English, which is to be expected when you are visiting small towns in Italy. She spoke some English, we spoke some Italian, and we were able to understand each other just fine. There was a nice courtyard that was shared with the other apartments in the building. Be aware that you will need to carry your luggage up steep cobble roads and steps - not for folks with limited mobility. Parking was about a 3-4 minute walk from the apartment, which for an in-town location is quite good.
− The wifi did not work during our entire 4-day stay, which was problematic. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
