1.0− Within minutes of entering our room, an individual who did not identify himself buzzed and opened our door without first knocking or announcing himself. We had only just checked in, and this unexpected entry immediately made us uncomfortable. When we later encountered the same employee, he repeatedly apologized and again explained that he was performing a “room check.” During that conversation, he also referenced seeing us walking in the opposite direction toward our room before the incident. While we understand there may be legitimate operational procedures, the combination of these events left us feeling uneasy, singled out, and targeted. Rather than feeling welcomed and secure, we felt uncomfortable enough that we no longer felt confident staying at the property. We emailed the property and requested a refund but of course have heard nothing back.
Overall the stay was nice and convenient to most of the places I wanted to visit in my trip. There were few things the
