Awful experience

Waited for 2 hours for our room to get ready. My 2 year old fell asleep on their couch in the lobby after we arrived on time for entry.

Pool & breakfast

− My family stay here every 2 years for our family reunion for the last 9 years. It is usually a very relaxing stay. This time around was very different. 1st- the day we arrived my aunt was told that the children she brought cursed another guest out. Although the accusation was very false I sat there with the kids and I spoke to the guest & said I was sorry that the kids falsely knocked on his door, rm 511. 2nd- I had 2 rooms, 1 of our never got cleaned but repeatly asked for the service. Yet other room never requested a cleaning but was cleaned daily. Despite me talking to housekeeping & managers about it. 3rd- it was very uncomfortable coming back to a clean room where all your items & opened luggage were moved across the room. 4th- both of my rooms had every towel removed even if they were not misplaced or on the ground. That leads me to the 5th issue- towels weren't available when we got back to the hotel after 6:00pm each night. So just imagine needing to bathe kids and yourself so that you can have your next Excursion early the next morning and unable to go to sleep until midnight because you have no towels to bathe. 6th- the hotel charged me with two parking fees although when I checked in the agent assured me that it will only be one parking fee. I had to call and request a refund in which would not have happened if I did not check my receipts. And lastly one of the elevators were broken and the only one that we can use on one side was slow could that not have been fixed, the residents at the hotel informed Us guest that this type of ordeal has been going on for months to almost a year. One good thing that came out of it was our children enjoyed the swimming pool area and the breakfast was okay. Overall very uncomfortable stay we have ever had. In 2 years I'm unsure if our family will come back. And we usually book at least 10 rooms.

May try another Arcadia lodging option next time

Large rooms, comfortable beds

− Not enough seating for breakfast, very slow elevators that are also used by staff, parking lot side entry gate not working at night, rooms showing signs of age.
