Hostel right in old town with a rooftop.
8.0Friendly and welcoming staff who spoke English. Excellent WiFi throughout. Spacious room. There's a fully equipped kitchen downstairs which includes a fridge, a kettle and a microwave, which is perfect as 7 eleven is a bit of a walk away. Strong Aircon....but...but! There's a nice garden sitting area, however the rooftop is the place to go for those who want a DSA. There is a table and some chairs there. Excellent location right in old town, and Songthaews or vans to and from Hat Yai can drop or pick up right up on the main street
− Needs photos of the rooftop on the Booking page. I only found out about it from AI, when I asked it for something. The common bathroom on the 2nd floor is a bit rustic, better ones downstairs. There's no cafe, which you kind of expect by the name of the hostel. I'm alone so for me it was fine, but the Aircon is fitted directly above the top bunk and the cold air doesn't reach the bottom bunk very well. There's a fan to distribute the air too, but that one is also fitted so it doesn't blow on the bottom bunk. If it's 2 of you, I suppose 1 person will be freezing while the other one is too hot.

− Because this house is next to a lake, there are bugs. They aren’t a problem, just be aware. And maybe bring mosquito proofing.
