8.0The Vitality Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Dayton. The hotel lojujbby was crowded when I arrived and I could not find the check-in kiosk - there is no registration desk or concierge - and a security guard said I was already checked in and could go to my room, but I wasn’t. I texted for help and was told someone would be there shortly, but wasn’t. After 15 minutes, I went back down to the lobby, which was now nearly empty and the check-in kiosks were quite obvious. Once I checked in everything went smoothly. However if you don’t have a smart phone staying at this hotel could be a real problem. The free breakfastp’´ is the best I’ve seen in any hotel. My room was right by the elevator, but between about 11pm and 7 am it was quiet enough that I got a good night’s sleep. On the down side, the hotel has 11 floors of rooms and three elevators, only one of which was working when I stayed there. Also, and this is a problem with many hotels, for guest safety all tub showers should have grab bars for entering and exiting the tub. Everyone needs these, not just handicapped folks.

8.0The digital check-in was a hassle. We received excessive mails and texts and ultimately needed Yvonne (who couldn't have been nicer or more professional) to check us in and that took at least 10 minutes. The rooms were great except for the cement floors.
