It was so hot in the room that we got up at 3 am and left for home. It was not a pleasant stay.
1.0The staff was very nice.
− Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay at the Shady Lady. We were in a room with black walls and frankly it was a little creepy. The bed was hard and very squeaky. The worst part was the air conditioner turned off about 7:30 pm. (It was around 100* that day). The room became so hot we could barely sleep. It was well over 90* in the room. The parlor was 83*and it felt cool compared to the room.

7.0Hosts were very nice. The interesting history. We liked the peacocks.
− The windows needed to be cleaned, and there were too many decorative pieces. We didn't have much room for our things. The light was hanging too low, and my buds hit his head at least 5 times.
