Clean, quiet room and friendly staff
8.0We stayed seven nights here while in Peabody for a family member's funeral. Our room was one of the newly renovated ones, and it was clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet even though it was directly across from the fitness center. The only negative here was the poor water pressure in the bathroom. While the shower was fine, the toilet often required multiple flushes and the water in the sink was a weak stream. The other thing I found curious was that while this newly renovated room had a raised toilet, there were no grab bars in the shower. The staff were uniformly cheerful and helpful. One staff member in particular, Dee, a server at Sophia's restaurant, was exceptionally friendly and compassionate when she found out the reason for our stay. The hotel advertises two restaurants, but be aware that one is a Starbucks that is only open in the morning. Sophia's has excellent, if pricey, food. On the whole, I would stay here again if on the area.

− The pool down for maintenance for the full week, wasn’t the staffs fault but wasn’t good for us to have somewhere to chill out at . The location wasnt the best due to not being able to go out of the hotel and walk, we had to get an uber everywhere we went

WORST HOTEL DO NOT STAY HERE
2.0If there was ever a hotel that does not deserve your money, it is this one. I should’ve known that something was deeply wrong with this place when the first thing that I touched in the room (the curtain rod) broke as soon as I laid my hand on it. It was also extremely overpriced. But that is only the start of it. I was staying at this hotel for my friend’s wedding. They had arranged with the hotel to keep the bar open late, until 1:30, for the after party. Shortly after we arrived back at the hotel after the wedding, at 11:45 the hotel announce last call. They went back on their word and ruined my friend’s after party and wedding night. The bride and groom spent some of the final hours of the big day pleading and arguing with the hotel staff to honor the arrangements they had made. The incompetence and indifference on the part of Marriott and its staff was absolutely disgusting. IF YOU ARE PLANNING A WEDDING, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOTEL. If I could give this worthless place a zero star review, I would.
